The little jacket was okay, but there was a lot of gathers at the elbow. My daughter didn't want to wear it because it had the look of puffed sleeves. So I removed the cuff, reduced the gathers by about 50%, substantially narrowed the sleeves and sewed the cuffs back on. After these modifications, she says the garment is now perfect for over a dress.
